Our Mission:
To empower communities to embrace a supportive
environment for children in foster care, and provide
care and support to families in crisis.
Our Vision:
To see local communities engaged in all areas of the
foster care community including children in care, foster
families, social workers, and families of origin through
supportive programs, active engagement and
compassionate relationships.
our initiatives:
At the heart of our work lies a commitment to the well-being
of children in foster care, and our initiatives include:
- Recruiting foster families to provide safe, stable, and loving homes.
- Building community networks to support children in foster care and the
families who care for them. - Mentorship programs that inspire and guide children and foster families.
- Parenting and support classes offered free of charge to families in crisis, often
fulfilling court-ordered requirements and helping biological parents on their
path to reunification. - Encouraging state social workers whose dedication is vital to the lives of these
children through recognition and support initiatives. - Educational programs and volunteer opportunities for community groups to
actively make a difference in this critical space.
